Four new counties have replaced Mayo, Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim.

Weather warnings have been coming at us thick and fast in the last couple of days.

On Sunday we were told that a status yellow warning had been issued for eight counties, which was valid until 9am on Monday morning.

Then, Monday came around and at 2pm, Met Éireann issued another status yellow weather warning, which included four new counties.

Galway, Clare, Cork and Kerry are still on the list and they are joined by Wexford, Wicklow, Limerick and Waterford with the warning valid from 3pm until midnight on Tuesday, September 12.

Met Éireann said: "A depression is set to cross Ireland on Tuesday. It will bring strong and blustery southwest to west winds to southern parts of the country during the afternoon and evening, strongest in coastal areas. There will be heavy rain also."

The rest of the country will experience showers on Monday night but they will be more prevalent in the west of the country, with temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

Tuesday will be wet and windy too for the rest of the country and heavy rain will spread eastwards, covering the whole of Ireland with strong and gusty winds.

There will be clear spells in most places at night, but scattered showers will also occur with the possibility of prolonged heavy rain in coastal counties.

There is also a small risk of thunder, especially in the northwest.

Hearing that news makes us think that it could be a curl up beside the fire and watch a bit of Netflix kind of week.

Please don't go...
