A MAN has been injured in a shooting incident in Dublin.

The man is believed to have been shot in the hand and his injuries are not life threatening.

It is understood the shooting occurred in Finglas.

The man presented to the Mater Hospital today at around 5pm but no complaint has been made to gardaí at this time.

The injured man is known to gardaí.
