Lucky Dublin punter scoops €2.4m Lotto jackpot

Ireland has a new multi-millionaire after one lucky punter scooped the huge Lotto jackpot.

The jackpot of tonight's draw was €2,387,835.

The winning numbers were 7, 19, 20, 32, 34, 43 and the bonus number was 45.

It has been confirmed the winning ticket was sold in Dublin.

And it's a double-celebration in the capital, as another lucky punter has landed €500,000 on the Lotto Plus 1 draw.

The Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers 7, 17, 23, 34, 45, 46 and the bonus number was 37.

Earlier it was confirmed that time is running out for an Irish Lotto player to collect a life-changing prize.

The National Lottery are appealing for players to check their old tickets as the deadline for claiming the prize is fast approaching.

One Co Kerry player is walking around with a ticket worth an eye-watering €250,000 after scooping the Lotto Plus 2 top prize from Saturday, June 17.

And they have just TWO DAYS left to claim their prize.

The €5 Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Supervalu store on Railway Road in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.

The winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers were: 01, 17, 30, 33, 35, 43 Bonus 2.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize so the deadline for this winner is close of business on Friday, September 15.

Chief Executive of the National Lottery, Dermot Griffin has today appealed to all Lotto players to check their tickets so they don't miss out on the windfall.

He said: “With just two days to go until this prize claim deadline, we would urge all of our players to check their homes, cars and their pockets for any misplaced Lotto tickets as it may be worth a quarter of a million euro!”

There is also a EuroM illions Plus prize of €500,000 from Tuesday, June 13 that has not yet been claimed.

It was sold at Paul Hogan’s Service station on the Gort Road in Ennis, Co Clare and expires on Monday, September 11.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers were: 05, 09, 19, 27, 30
