Met Eireann forecast Dublin will be the hottest county tomorrow as temperatures rise sky high
The whole of Ireland is talking about how warm and sunny it has been over the last two days.
Even though Storm Irene hit us last night, it seems the worst of it has passed and temperatures are beginning to soar.
We're excited to bask in the sunshine but if you're living in Dublin, you're definitely going to feel the heat.
While the majority of the country will have temperatures reaching 17 degrees, Dublin will be sweltering with the highest temperatures expected to reach 19 degrees.
Met Eireann said: "Misty at first tomorrow Wednesday, with patchy light rain or drizzle about. Dry if rather cloudy in the afternoon with some sunny breaks.
"Very mild or warm with moderate southerly breezes and highs of 15 to 19 degrees Celsius."
This is just the start of the heat after fore casters have predicted that a mini-heatwave would reach our shores on Thursday.
Now it seems Friday will have even hotter weather.
Speaking on RTE's Morning Ireland today, Met Eireann forecaster John Eagleton said of the predicted scorching temperatures: "There is not much sign yet, but it's coming.
"We're pretty certain [temperatures] will hit 18C on Thursday. Tomorrow will start misty and damp, but the afternoon will be good for many places.
"On Friday, the temperatures could go higher, to 19 and 20 degrees."Source: Google News
