Game of Thrones stars say goodbye to Ireland after filming

After eight dramatic seasons laden with Dothraki, dire wolves, dragons and Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones is set to bid farewell to Northern Ireland, its main filming location since 2010.
Cast members of the hugely popular television adaptation of novels by George RR Martin have been filming their final scenes of the eagerly anticipated season eight of the programme. The series, which has resulted in a huge boost to both the film industry and tourism in Northern Ireland, is expected to wrap before the end of the summer.
